If you want to be successful you have to be interested and intentionalβΌοΈ The thing that I dunno if people outside of media realize is that while people have their special interests, particularly on social media, people will never have with mostly anything once the person presenting is interested about what they're talking about and intentional in the way they deliver their message. πββοΈ
This is probably a fairly trite observation but it's not one that I think we act on all that much. Particularly as young people we often ask ourselves how much money we want or what we want to do as opposed to how we want to do it and why. Myself for example, I am interested in youth engagement and edification. Had I told an adult that they may have said maybe you should be a teacher. Or a child psychologist. Or a counselor. While those are all great ideas, some of which I've even tried, none of them really fit me. But because I was interested in it so passionately, I was determined to find a way to engage with youth on my terms. In the ways that not only made sense to me and to them, but spoke to the ways in which the world is moving.
The intention comes in now with how I package the message. If I want young people to be interested have to speak and move in a way that interests young people. Which means I need to know what interests young people. Which means I need to know young people. Which means I need to be intentional about the way I live my life in order to increase the likelihood that I will meet young people to build rapour with. So I can implement those things in my content. Skibidi rizz.
You know that experience when you're talking to someone and you have no clue what they're talking about but they're so clearly invested in whatever it is you can't help but listen? You could also be that super special person if you allow yourself to be interested and intentional in yourself, your life and what makes you shine. And as always
