Learning is crystalized in the testing phase. When one is able to apply the lessons learned in real circumstances. To experiment with different stimulus and outcome. Without this crucial step any lesson is lost because the context in which to apply it is missing and thus the brain deems it irrelevant. Why would you walk around with a hammer in a world with no nails?

If you want to remember something, make it matter to you. Use it. Apply it. Look for evidence of it in your daily life. Most times once you pay enough attention, you will see the connective threads.

You also got to be okay with fucking up. Making mistakes is usually the first step in learning how to do something right. Be kind with yourself, be patient with yourself and have fun with the process. Those dates where things go swimmingly well feel good in the moment but rarely live long in the memory. Those that do are typically those that had something go wrong or amiss but you were still able to find joy in that moment. There's real magic in there.

So go out there and learn. Fall flat on your face embarrass yourself try something new whatever it is go brave! And
